Ducar D4000iS Inverter Petrol Generator

The Ducar D4000iS is the perfect generator to cover most domestic requirements along with providing power whilst camping or in a caravan away from a mains supplied site. Boasting a large 3.8kW output, the generator is ideal to take on sensitive work while allowing heavier equipment to be run off it simultaneously. Coupled with two 13amp, 230V domestic sockets, you can safely run multiple appliances without the worry of overloading and tripping out.

The D4000iS is a very low noise generator for its size. Based on the average 50% load, the generator will run at 62dBA @ 7m, quiet enough to not disturb anyone in its immediate surroundings.

With a compact and symmetrical design, along with wheels and a carry handle, the D4000iS makes for a perfect unit for easy and effective storage, transportation and manoeuvrability.

Like most inverter units, the generator is equipped with an ECO mode that drops the engine revs to minimal levels. This provides a lower fuel consumption and even less noise that the unit would typically produce. ECO Mode acts like a ‘smart throttle’, changing the engine speed necessary to meet the demand. Because of this feature, the speed of the generator runs slower and encounters less ware and tear, ultimately increasing the life and efficiency of the engine.

Starting a generator could not be simpler, after connecting the battery and switching the battery to ‘On’ – simply press the start button and the generator will do the rest. Once the generator is running, you can start powering your equipment immediately. In the extremely rare event the push button start fails to work, there is a recoil cord that will allow you to start the generator in those emergency situations.

A standard feature of the inverter generators, which is included in the powerful D4000iS, is the pure sine wave feature. This allows the user to run sensitive electronics, such as phone and laptop chargers, directly off the generator without the worry of damaging delicate microprocessors located in most sensitive equipment. This is regulated by the inverter board, which also assists in controlling the generator’s eco mode function.

An improved and superior feature included on the front control panel of the generator is the LED display. Not only does it provide a clear indication of the voltage, frequency and hours, but displays a fuel gauge to the left and a percentage of power consumption to the right. The latter allows you to ensure you always have the right amount of power set up and plugged in to the unit.
