6929.94 2024-12-21The EIPL Range of Desiccant dehumidifiers are compact, rugged and lightweight. Their design facilitates easy transportation by one person and they are easily accommodated within space restricted areas. The unit incorporates a PTC Heater ensuring maximum drying is immediately reached, and constantly maintained while the unit is running.
All models incorporate a high efficiency patented PPS Rotor. The design incorporates an 82% active Silica Gel to ensure optimum performance over the unit's wide operating range of environments. All desiccant rotors supplied by EIPL are washable, and designed for high performance / long life.
Desiccant dehumidifiers work well in cooler environments and when a low dew-point, deep drying or low humidity levels are required. They will work effectively in sub zero temperatures as they do not produce water.
Their operation is simplistic, reliable and very effective: process air is drawn into the machine where is passes over a wheel filled with Silica Gel. As the air passes over the wheel, the mositure in the air is absorbed into the Silica Gel wheel before leaving the dehumidifier as warm dry air. The Silica Gel wheel is continually rotating slowly, normally at 3 RPM. As the wheel rotates a small portion passes through the regeneration segment. During this phase a second air stream, the Regeneration Air, is heated to a high temperature before passing over the wheel and any moisture present in the wheel is released into this air stream and this hot wet air is then exhausted outside the area being dried.
