CASTABLE 1300 Patching Grade has been specifically formulated to allow the product to be trowelled or gunned onto a surface either to construct or repair a refractory lining. This Grade has all the advantages of a monolithic material with the added properties of good adhesion and ease of installation.
It is particularly suitable for repairing Castable linings although it can also be recommended for repairs to firebrick linings. This product is Ideal for use as a screed over common bricks to form a heat resistant lining as an alternative to firebricks, e.g. in a domestic fire grate. Can be used up to service temperatures of 1300°C.
