The Hyundai HY80 is an 80mm (3" bore) petrol water pump from Hyundai Power Equipment, and a solid part of the Hyundai water pump range. The HY80 runs on a HY200 6.5hp petrol engine, and has an 80mm pump on both the inlet and outlet. Powered by a 196cc OHV engine, the HY80 can move 45,000litres of water an hour.
The rugged wrap around cage protects the machine knocks, but at only 28kg, this machine is still light enough for one man transport and operation.
The pump also benefits from a 3.6 litre petrol fuel tank giving it a maximum run time of 3.5 hours, which should be just enough time to move around a colossal 157,500 litres of water with a maximum head of 25 metres. Of all of the high pressure and water trash pumps in the Hyundai range, the HY80 is second only to it's sister trash pump in the amount of water it moves per minute and hour.
