150.98 2024-12-21The HYC60LI is a rechargeable low maintenance lithium ion battery powered chainsaw from Hyundai. HYC60LI is the ideal battery powered chainsaw for pruning trees and bushes as well as cutting logs.
Powered by a 2.5Ah LG lithium-ion battery the brushless motor offers similar performance to electric powered and small petrol chainsaws, making light work of cutting through logs and branches with the 12” Oregon bar and chain. A high speed chain makes your work more comfortable and efficient.
To make using this chainsaw as simple as possible, it features tool-less chain tensioning and automatic chain lubrication. This allows you to get the very best performance out of your chainsaw at all times, and minimises the interruption to your gardening.
It also uses the Oregon low kick-back chain bar and has the standard anti kick-back chain brake, which provides a safer cutting experience by stopping the chain immediately and allowing you to get it back under control.
The main advantages of this chainsaw over petrol engined chainsaws: No highly flammable petrol, no 2-stroke oil to mix with the petrol, low noise levels and no pull starting problems. Compared to a mains electric chainsaw, there is no dangerous 230v mains cable to cut through, or trip over and you are not restricted by the length of the lead.
A battery powered chainsaw has several advantages over petrol chainsaws, the biggest of which is not needing to handle and store flammable petrol. It also produces lower noise levels during operation, which minimises disruption to your family or neighbours, and with no recoil pull start you don’t need to worry about having problems getting it started. Compared to an electric chainsaw, there’s no cable to cut through or trip over and you are not restricted by the length of the lead. With all of these elements combined, the HYC60LI provides a user-friendly gardening experience, which allows you to focus on getting the best cut.
Under normal operating conditions, the HYC60LI should provide up to 80 minutes of cutting time per full charge, which is more than enough to work your way through a large collection of logs or branches offering over 100 cuts in just one charge. With a charging time of just hours and designed to perform for 1000+ recharges.
One battery powers the entire Hyundai 60v range, enabling you to buy blank units of additional machines and interchange the battery for a cost effective collection of garden tools. The battery and charger is included with this unit.
