749.99 2025-05-27The Hyundai HYLS15200T is an petrol powered kinetic log splitter, ideal for domestic or light commercial use.
Powered by a 6hp 196cc Hyundai 4 Stroke petrol engine with easy recoil start and mounted on large wheels with a off road tow bar for ATVs or Forestry Vehicles, the kinetic log splitter can be easily maneuvered to any work site.
Using the latest kinetic technology, the Hyundai log splitter does away with the need for a complicated hydraulic system that can be unreliable and expensive to maintain.
Instead, the new range of log splitters uses the motor to power a flywheel system that stores the energy and then releases it in one quick burst.
This dramatically reduces the cycle time of the splitter to under 3 seconds with no loss of performance over 20 to 30 seconds of the more conventional hydraulic log splitters, allowing you to split more wood in less time.
The kinetic log splitter can split all types of hardwood and softwood and is capable of splitting logs 400mm in diameter and up to 520mm in length.
With most conventional log splitters, you have to engage the return lever until the splitting wedge is back to the start position.
The Hyundai HYLS15520T retracts the wedge automatically leaving you free to load the next piece of wood.
The splitter is mounted on two large wheels and comes fitted with a tow bar suitable for ATV’s, farm vehicles and forestry vehicles so it can be easily moved off road and around the job site.*
For added safety, the log splitter requires both hands to operate, one hand to depress the safety handle and the other to operate the control handle. This ensures your hands are clear of all moving parts during operation. If you let go of either lever during operation, the machine will automatically stop to avoid any injury to the operator.
*Not suitable for on-road towing.
