It is capable of drilling 13mm diameter holes in steel and 36mm diameter holes in wood, or with the hammer mode enabled it can even drill 13mm diameter holes in masonry. It is backed up by 42 Newton-metres of torque to allow it to be used as a screwdriver as well as drill. The tool has a heavy and durable all-metal gearbox with two speeds, ideal to allow you to drill on low speed for mild steel drilling or high speed for drilling in timber. With a battery installed the weight is well balanced around the ergonomic handle making the tool easy to use for long projects. The drill will operate in forward or reverse, and the trigger switch is pressure sensitive to allow you to further vary the speed beyond the gearing. This special edition of the bare tool is supplied in a durable carrying case with enough room for you to add your own 18v LXT batteries and charger.
