We have made significant progress in the creation and production of our own brand of pipe and cable location equipment from the original TOMKAT & SIGEN through to the brand new TOMKAT & SIGEN range which have established themselves as industry standard cable and pipe location tools.
The SIGEN 2+ signal transmitter incorporates high & low Volume output as well as low & high power outputs. The high volume helps get a better connection tone the low volume allows the use in quite locations. This along with the ability to switch from low to high power output at the click of a switch lets the Operator locate the familiar distinct continuous tone.
The TOMKAT along with the SIGEN 2+ offer many features designed to assist in the avoidance of buried services. This along with the manufactures calibration ensures your equipment is in good working order. This will significantly help in reducing your strike rate. Whether you are new to the TOMKAT family or an established user there is no doubt that our location equipment is exactly what your business needs.
The Signal Clamp has an internal 100mm diameter this allows the operator to apply a signal directly and safely to an insulted conductor ensuring a good contact without removing the insulation.
Using a Signal Clamp aids the operator in the detection of buried cables by applying a distinct signal to a designated cable, this could be a street light or any insulated cable, the Signal Clamp lets the operator apply a distinct signal to a cable which needs to be traced.
To operate the Signal Clamp plug the bulgin plug in to the connection socket inside the SIGEN+ accessory compartment, place the jaws of the Clamp around the service to be traced ensuring the clamp is fully closed. Turn the SIGEN+ on now trace with a TOMKAT in the Genny mode.
The 33kHz Sonde is a small battery powered, self-contained,
waterproof transmitter which can be attached to drain rods or
any movable device that can be propelled inside nonmetallic pipes.
