Now in my 60's I wanted a stable and sturdy ladder for general property maintenance and tree pruning. This ladder is ideal and I now have the confidence to do work that I was putting off. The large standing platform means you can take quite a few tools up with you so everything is to hand. Great for cutting back tall hedges, reducing tree & shrub heights, pulling ivy off walls etc. Also great to have something stable to put the paint tin on when doing decoration and being so stable, vigorous cleaning and sanding is easy. The handles, the wide stable steps and the top supporting rail make each job easy and you feel safe. It did need two of us to get the handles on, one was especially tricky, but didn't take long and it is quite heavy to move around and close up after using it. I tend to get a hand for this but can move it around on my own. It just fits inside my garden shed and is now a prized possession due to the confidence it's given me.
